Original LUFTWAFFE "Transport" Clasp in Gold with Pendant
Up for auction  is an original German WWII LUFTWAFFE "Transport" Clasp in Gold with Pendant, which is considered a sought after collector's item. This clasp is in good condition. The gold clasp with pendant was issued to Luftwaffe (German Air Force) personnel, which completed either 100 missions of reconnaissance/transport missions or for extraordinary achievements. In general, there are three levels of Luftwaffe flying clasps  - bronze, silver and gold -  for twenty, sixty and one hundred and ten operational flights respectively. As you can see the color is very reach.
For sale in another auction is also a private German WW2 photo album which is filled with 176 photos and "tells" the story of a German Army Anti-Aircraft unit, which was stationed in Italy in 1943 and fought in the GUSTAF defense line, most well known for the Monte Cassino battles.
REFERENCE:  Detlev Niemann "Price Guide. Orders and decorations Germany" 2004, page 696, catalogue price is 850 EURO ( $1000) for that nice badge (three years ago!).
