RARE ORIGINAL German WW2 E-Boat War Badge, 1st Model
German Navy Patrol Torpedo Boat Badge First Model. The item depicted in the images below is an original German WW II Schnellboot - Kriegsabzeichen (also called E- Boat, or Torpedo Boat) war badge, which was issued by the German Navy (Marine). This award badge was issued to boat crew members for effective enemy engagement, survivors of ships that were sunk by hostile action and also to those who suffered wounds in the course of duty. There were two types of the E-Boat award badge with the first pattern being the scarcer one when compared to the second pattern issue. The item displayed here is the first issue of the badge. For sample I put Certificate for the same badge. Certificate is selling separate.
REFERENCE:  Detlev Niemann "Price Guide. Orders and decorations Germany" 2004, page 763, catalogue price is 1200 EURO ($1450) - two years ago! As you know now all prices much more... . Helmut Weitze is selling the same badge for 1850 EURO ($2300) - item #72100.
